In keeping with the name, closeup is marketed to younger people who want to enjoy the confidence they get from clean teeth and fresh breath, especially in the more intimate moments. closeup wanted to increase sales of their Deep Action toothpaste, with a promotion that works with their brand promise of fresher breath when closeup. We created a campaign for closeup that would bring people closer together. And nothing brings couples closer together quite like watching a movie at the cinema. So when you buy 2 packs of closeup Deep Action, or 1 pack of Diamond Attraction toothpaste, you can enjoy a movie for free and get as close as you like.
The campaign was supported in-store with point of sale material and online with a dedicated website.
The promotion proved very popular and the brand saw an 18% sales uplift during the campaign period.
